The indigenous people of Biafra have threatened to boycott Nigeria National Anthem and replace it with Biafra. Watch video of Biafra National Anthem Being Sung In A School Premises.


It's no longer news that IPOB are agitating for the sovereign state of Biafra to be unconditionally given to them with immediate effect, backed up with fundamental human rights for all citizens.


Recall, their leader Mazi Nnamdi kanu is facing federal trial for treason, felony and 2017 bail jump. Nigerian military attack on Kanu's residence in Abia state could have prompted why the supreme leader decide to Dodge from prosecution. He was later captured in Kenya and repatriated to Nigeria, his trial is ongoing as we speak.

In furtherance, the group has stated it clear through Its Head, Directorate of State, Chika Edoziem that Nigeria National Anthem will be banned in the south East region and replaced with the Biafra Anthem.


The above video showed how the anthem is recited from stanza to stanza. In regard to this development, there's has been wide speculation that the federal government of Nigeria will impose military action to this effect.
